RAEMI’s EP

Raemi, or Rachelle Mitchell is an upcoming singer from Nashville, Tennessee. She approached me to create her cover art on her EP Partly Cloudy.  Her song Find Me, from the EP now has over 50,000 plays. Her producer Kadeem Phillips works with big Nashville names, such as Jelly Roll, Chuck Indago, and country singer Reyna Roberts. I am so grateful for this opportunity, to meet local talent, working for and supporting the music scene in Nashville.

Process

We first began discussing the idea of a girl looking through a telescope. However, upon completion, Rochelle had another idea. She was adamant about wanting the girl to have brown skin; rather than the purple-toned piece I originally created. She wanted the words Find Me to match the character’s skin tone.
