Speculative Book Cover

    For this speculative project, I redesigned the book cover for The Rise of Kyoshi: Avatar The Last Airbender series. The project journey began with the careful consideration of key narrative elements that would inform the reader of the story based on the design of the cover. Among these elements were distinctive features of the main character, such as her signature fans, headdress, and makeup. To capture the essence of the Earth Kingdom from the story, I selected a whimsical sans-serif typeface that best represented the narrative.

    The front and back covers feature inward flaps containing essential information about the book and its author. This project allowed me to delve into design and storytelling, melding the visual and literary aspects to create an engaging and compelling book cover for The Rise of Kyoshi: Avatar The Last Airbender.
